The goal of this WHEEL LOCKING SYSTEM project is to hinder the theft of bikes with the assistance of wheel locking system. The solenoid switch is employed because the main tool to lock the front wheel of the bike. Solenoid may be a device that monitors in linear motion. It includes plunger which moves in too and fro motion and is connected to the battery supply.
The brake lever in disk brake system enables the functions of disk brake . The plan is close to activate the disk brake functions while the key is kept in OFF stage. Hence the program manages the solenoid actions. The programs should be within the sort of idle state or key in off. When an unknown person moves the bike then the microcontroller should perform an action by analyzing front wheel motion and it should active the solenoid action.
The solenoid is consisted of voltage of 12volts and current of 5amps. The battery consists of voltage of 12volts and current of 7amps.

The Wheel Locking System Mechanical Project Abstract concludes on the locking system with the need of the project manages the actions of solenoid. The system should be in such a fashion that if bike is within the position of IDLE STATE or key IN OFF and at an equivalent time when an unauthorized person tries to unlock the bike then after the front wheel rotations the MICROCONTROLLER should perform the action by using sensor and will active the solenoid actions.
We are using solenoid switch because the main device for locking the front wheel of the 2 wheeler(disc brakes only)
Now we are adopting this setup just for the disk brake systems involved bikes.
The solenoid may be a device which works in linear movement. It consists of plunger, that plunger moves in TOO & FRO direction when it’s connected to the battery supply.
In disk brake system, the brake lever is employed to activate the action of disk brake .
Our plan is to use the solenoid to activate the action of disk brake when the key is in OFF stage.
So we’d like the programe to controle the function of the solenoid. The programme must be in such how that, when bike in IDLE STATE or key IN OFF, at that point if an unauthorized person tries to maneuver it, then after certain rotations of the front wheel the MICROCONTROLLER must take action with a help of sensor by sensing the rotation of the front wheel & it must active the solenoid function.
